Jacob Haas’ speech at the Golden Deeds Award Luncheon

Hi, my name is Jacob Haas. I was one of Matt’s best friends. We had done a lot together over the few years that Matt was with us. Once he invited me to Kings Island with them. I was so nervous but the Keysers got me through it. And boy did we have some fun! Thank you Keysers. Also I remember when the Keysers invited me to the baseball field to practice with them. These were just some of the many things that I was lucky to have done with such a wonderful family that I grew to love so much.

The Keysers will bring every body into their family. I’ve learned that they are loving, caring, and very nice people. They haven’t just brought me into their family they have brought a whole community in, and many more, into their lives and I think that is the most thoughtful thing ever. When the Keysers bring you into their family you will never forget it.

Mr. Keyser treats me like a son of his own. He loves me enough that I could be his second son. Mr. Keyser is so friendly he never leaves anyone out of his life.  Mr. Keyser is also very good at sports Rock on Mr. Keyser!

Mrs. Keyser will smother you with her love.  She is always checking on you to make sure if you’re all right. She also is a great C.C.D. teacher. I remember when Mrs. Keyser brought the karaoke machine into class and Matt was the first one to volunteer to sing.

The girls Alex, and Kelsey are always willing to entertain every one. They have always been so nice to Matt’s friends. When I would go over to their house they would always be so nice to me. I remember the time we played tag at the Marshall’s house and Alex, and Kelsey barley ever got caught, because they’re so fast.

The Keysers will always be in my heart.

Thank You, Mr. and Mrs. Keyser, Alex, and Kelsey for letting all of us into your lives. I Love You!
